About Project
Recycling is my smile at nature

Project Number: 2023-1-PL01-KA210-YOU-F6F6A7F9
As a requirement of being a consumer society, excess consumption and unconscious use of natural resources increase waste generation. For a clean environment and a healthy future, it is necessary to reduce waste and protect nature. Of course, it is not possible to completely stop the factors that cause environmental pollution with a project, but we can help nature in solving human-caused problems in order to reduce their impact on the environment. The only solution to human- related problems is education. In recent years, the rapid consumption of natural resources and the need for additional resources have caused the concept of recycling to increase in importance. Efforts to raise public awareness about waste objects have been initiated. In “Eco Art-Eco Creativity” workshops in schools and youth centers, simple toys and new products that can be used in daily life are made using paper, packaging, fabric and plastic waste
Today, many people still do not know how serious environmental problems such as environmental pollution and climate change are, or even if they do, they do not have an idea about how they can individually contribute to the solution of these problems. For these reasons, the project is designed to contribute to the solution of environmental and climate change problems by using the effective power of art to raise people’s awareness about environmental awareness, zero waste, recycling and nature-friendliness, and by developing ecological solution ideas.

Three concrete goals were determined in the Project
Goal 1: “Raising awareness of environmental protection and waste recycling”
- Zero waste management and recycling seminars will be organized in formal and non-formal education institutions, public institutions, NGO representatives and housewives.
- Intercultural experiences on environmental problems will be shared using innovative and creative methods.
Goal 2 :”Utilization of waste in artistic context”
- Eco-art activities will be held in painting, visual arts and technology design courses in formal and non-formal education institutions. Waste will turn into an artistic and aesthetic work in the imagination and skillful hands of students and teachers With the activities to be carried out, waste will be reused with the Eco Art logic and awareness will be raised about environmental pollution. Because art has an effective power in ecological sensitivity
Goal 3 :To encourage the society to plant saplings.
- Raising awareness about love of trees and natüreIn order to emphasize the importance of our green areas, which are decreasing day by day,500 saplings will be planted together with teachers, students and parents. Thus, the society’s love of trees and nature will be encouraged. Participants will also stay away from social media addiction for a while.
The project objectives are in line with the priorities of the European Union Environmental policies and the fight against environment and climate change, which are among the priorities of the Erasmus

Our project concerns all age groups in terms of the subject and priority it addresses. Every individual and institution has a responsibility to prevent environmental pollution.
Therefore, our project target groups are grouped as follows.
- Teachers and students of formal and non-formal education institutions
- Public institution managers and employees
- Managers and employees of NGOs and professional organizations – Housewifes
- Youth
- Local people
This project includes studies aimed at raising awareness among the target audience in the fight against environment and climate change, and using art effectively in waste reduction and recycling. There are two important and effective ways to achieve this.
The first is to convince people scientifically and psychologically that a goal must be achieved. In this context, organizing seminars on “Environmental protection and waste recycling” for the target audience: primary school, secondary school, high school and university students and teachers, as well as public, NGO and professional organization employees and housewives,
The second is to present examples of eco-art that can be used in everyone’s daily life, based on creative solutions through the reuse of waste.

In this context, it aims to artistically evaluate waste recycling, which is one of the ways to combat environment and climate change. At this stage, the target audience will create artistic products by reusing the theoretical knowledge they have in workshops and art classes with the logic of “Eco Art – Eco Creativity”. Thus, recycling and waste object usage skills will improve and contribute to the solution of problems such as environment and climate change in the long term.
The project will help anyone when they do not know how to contribute to the common goal of environmentally friendly living, and will prepare good practice examples within the scope of the project and make them available for free on our website, Wikipedia or social media. All these studies will be possible with the financing of the project.
